Adams State head coach Damon Martin recaps a memorable NCAA Division 2 Cross Country Championships for the Grizzlies women's team, which achieved a third consecutive title with a 75-126 victory against Grand Valley State at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Wash. Adams State won its NCAA record 20th women's championship, surpassing the 19 Division 3 men's crowns secured by North Central in Illinois from 1975-2018. Martin has guided Adams State to 22 overall women's championships, including NAIA victories in 1989 and 1991, and 10 NCAA Division 2 men's titles. The Grizzlies have also made 21 consecutive women's podium appearances at the NCAA Division 2 finals, in addition to achieving NCAA podium finishes in 29 of the past 30 seasons overall. |
