Charlie Dannatt, an NCAA Division 2 All-American at Simon Fraser representing Canada, won his section of the 1,500 meters in 3:40.60 at the Los Angeles event of the Under Armour Sunset Tour at Occidental College's Jack Kemp Stadium.
